Can you tell us about your startup?

The Bamboo Company is a social enterprise that works with bamboo, that aims to solve global issues such as climate change, poverty, plastic pollution and deforestation. We do this by producing, planting and selling bamboo products.

What made you interested in social impact?

Throughout my life, I've been fascinated and amazed by nature. This is the reason why I love travelling, and going to different places across the globe. I want to ensure that the stories of today, like the beautiful scenarios, and the beautiful landscapes that we can see, are something that can be told in the future. And I want the future generations to be able to see them.

What is a lesson you would like to share with aspiring entrepreneurs?

During the time you would experience all the things as an entrepreneur… those times that you would fail are the most powerful ones. It is through failure that you would learn a lot; it will mold you and make you more mature as an entrepreneur .

What is success to you?

Whenever I change some people’s lives. It is during those times when other people would tell me that they are very happy for me to assist them, or are very happy for my enterprise, or the things that I’m doing exists.
